It was just announced that over $77,000 were raised during this conference at worship services to be divided between Africa University and Nothing But Nets! Praise the Lord!

Good seeing you at AC Kevin.
I thought it was interesting that only $20,000 was given in the past when the donations went to AC expenses. This is amazing and demonstrates how much more people give to mission over operating costs.

I completely agree, it is very interesting that more than $50,000 more was raised than last year. It seems like it has to be that people are much more willing to give in ways that will make a difference in people's lives than giving to help pay for the cost of printing all those handouts we get. The conference also seemed to publicize the offering more this year, probably because it was for a more exciting cause.
True. I also have thought about the difference it makes for delegates and pastors to bring a specific offering to AC instead like we did this year. That accounts for some of the increase as well.
